Holograph. Songs for medium voice and piano with texts by Richard Dehmel and Johannes Schlaf. Text written in German Fraktur. Published in: Vier Lieder für eine Singstimme und Klavier, op. 2. Berlin: Dreililien, [1904]. All of the mss. are first drafts written in black ink on paper printed by J.E. & Co. Some corrections appear in pencil in no. 3 and in blue pencil in nos. 1 and 2. The first 13 measures of a Waltz for piano in g minor written on the last page of the double leaf for song no. 3 has been crossed out with blue pencil. The first song is dated Aug. 9, 1899, and the third song is dated Nov. 16, 1899. The other pieces are undated. All the pieces are written on double leaves except Waldsonne, which is written on a single leaf. (Archiv Nr. 222-223, 226-227, 230, 234)
