Schoenberg has corrected the title on p. [1] in black ink and has written 'copyright by Arnold Schoenberg 1947' at the bottom of the page. Corrections are made through cutting on p. 7 and also by erasures throughout the score. The final measure (p. 21) is inscribed 'Finished August 23, 1947' and p. 21 also contains the following note in Leibowitz's hand: 'Score made [crossd out] by René Leibowitz - Hollywood, December 1947'. This note is followed by another in black ink in Schoenberg's hand: 'This is one of Leibowitz's lies. He has not made [underscored] the score, but only copied! Sch'.
