Holograph first draft of violin part. Cover title. Written in pencil on
3 leaves of transparent paper. Page 1 has 12 staves, measures 55.8 x 43.2
cm. and contains bars 1-46 and a sketch of 117-124 in black ink. Bars
40-46 were misnumbered and have been correctly renumbered in blue pencil.
Following bar 46 is written 'ms 46 etc see next sheet'. Part of bars 26-27
has been corrected on a separate piece of paper affixed to this leaf.
The upper right hand corner is dated 'begun March 3 1949'. Page [2] has
8 staves, measures 37.3 x 43.2 cm. and contains bars 47-88. Bars 47-60
were misnumbered and have been correctly renumbered in blue pencil. Bars
56-59 have been corrected on separate pieces of paper affixed to this
leaf. Page [3] is made up of two leaves joined to form one large leaf
which measures 74.4 x 43.2 cm. and has 16 staves. This leaf contains bars
89-166. The end of the piece is signed and dated 'March 22, 1949'. Front
cover also bears title: 'Chorus: Dreimal tausend Jahre: 130th Psalm,'
and Schoenberg's Brentwood address stamp. Back cover bears additional
titles, crossed out.

Holograph fair copy. The score is written in pencil on 10 leaves of transparent
paper with 12 staves. The beginning of the piece is dated 'March 3 (March
5) 1949'. Schoenberg has written the following in black ink at the bottom
of page [1]: 'Copyright 1949 by Arnold Schoenberg'. Pages [2], [4], [5]
were folded in half horizontally and each second half is written upside
down. Corrections and ossia passages appear throughout in black ink. The
final measure (p. [10]) is signed and dated 'March 30, 1949'. 'Arnold
Schoenberg/116 N. Rockingham Avenue/Los Angeles 24, Calif./Phone Arizona
3-5077'--stamped on each leaf.

Holograph sketches and tone rows Blueprint of original tone row chart,
on leaf measuring 28 x 43.5 cm. An unidentified brief sketch in pencil
is written next to the chart. Blueprint of original tone row chart cut
and pasted onto 12 pieces of cardboard, measuring from 8.2 x 14.2 cm.
to 7.3 x 23.5 cm. Each leaf is recopied in black ink or pencil due to
the poor quality of the copy. Each piece of cardboard has a hole punched
in the left side; the pieces are joined by wire. Mfl. U107, 1093a: Sketches
in black ink on the recto of one lined leaf measuring 12.8 x 20.3 cm.
Staves have been drawn along each edge in black ink. The sketches are
of bars 34-36 ff. (3 sides) and of the tone row (1 side). The verso is
blank.
