Center Internship at the Archive The archive of the Arnold Schönberg Center offers the opportunity of a three-month to one-year-long internship, open to students and graduates of musicology programs, as well as to students and graduates of certificate programs in music library sciences (languages: German or English). Emphases (comprehensiveness and each areas relative degree of importance depend on the length of the internship, as well as on the personal focus of the intern): Cataloging Preservation Digitization Web design Museum pedagogy Exhibition design Editing of academic contributions Composition and editing of program notes Prerequisites: University studies in musicology (should be at least halfway through degree program, graduates preferred), or a related subject area (e.g., music library sciences certificate or graduate course of studies) Interest in the life and work of Arnold Schönberg, and in the Second Viennese School Understanding of archival and museum-related projects Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, as well as of HTML applications.
